Embry is Vice President at JLT Re and is a part of the Public Entity Practice. She is responsible for new business development, and oversees the primary insurance placements needed by our Pool clients. She also leads our Public Entity Cyber Liability initiative, developing solutions to meet the varied Cyber needs of our clients. Embry has over 27 years of experience in public entity pooling administration, member services, underwriting, operations and insurance / reinsurance broking. 

Embry’s previous experience in public entity pooling covers several aspects of the sector including; startup operations, working within the necessary legal and regulatory framework for successful launch of pools, establishing offices in new geographies, designing benchmark analyses, and placing insurance and reinsurance on Property, Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Cyber and various ancillary coverage lines.

Embry has a B.S. in Management and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. She is a licensed Property/Casualty and surplus lines producer.  She also holds the CPCU and ARM designations, and has spoken at AGRiP and other industry events on various topics.
